For the past 11 years, Amanda has been entrenched in the Disaster Response and Mitigation industry of the Commercial Real Estate market. Her natural affinity for the medical field and competitive drive led her to focus on Healthcare facilities, leading her to become one of only two women in the state of Georgia in 2018 to hold a CHC certification from the American Hospital Association.

She was invited as an official instructor for the BOC Program (Building Operator Certification) at Gwinnett Tech.

She has held Enhancing Infection Control presentations and demonstrations for engineers at Northside Hospital, the Southern Loss Association, school districts in New York and New Jersey, North Georgia Health Systems, Facilities and Safety Directors from Pioneer RESA, schools across Georgia.

She spent a year as a consultant for a chemical company based in Canada, introducing the first safe, EPA registered Category 4 antimicrobial to Universities, Resorts, and Municipalities through infection control lectures. She sold the chemical to NGHS as the main staple in their emergency Ebola preparation and eventually had it adopted as the primary disinfectant in the Atlanta United, UGA football and UGA baseball programs.

Three years in a row, Amanda organized a group of industry experts to co-host a continuing education event called ELEVATE with guest speakers Georgia Governor Brian Kemp, entrepreneur Joel Babbit and Service Commissioner Tim Echols. With 250 property owners, engineers, and facility directors present, the 3-hour events included lunch, team-building exercises, a Q&A session with our panel of experts and continuing education credits issued.

Before joining iugis, Amanda served as the Director of Business Development for Chief Facility Defense, a Veteran and Firefighter owned company that specializes in Installations, Inspections, and Maintenance of Life Safety, Electric, HVAC, Plumbing and Med Gas systems for industrial and commercial clients as well as security surveillance low voltage systems.

She worked with clients such as Cushman Wakefield Healthcare, Flowers Bakeries, Gordon Food Service, Hines, Transwestern, Lincoln, JLL Industrial, JLL Retail, FirstService Residential, Georgia State University, UGA, and more.

Watching her regional and national clients struggle to maintain compliance and organization during the pandemic, Amanda has created two best-practices compliance programs (LSEO, LSEC) with proprietary “constant compliance” technology to reduce risk and enhance facility performance.
